Spreadsheet to system · Canada

Your team outgrew the spreadsheet. Turn it into a real system.

Orders, jobs or records live in shared sheets, and someone spends their day retyping, checking and chasing. Gestech builds the system your team should be working in, connected to the tools you already use, and keeps it running.

Bring the spreadsheet your team can't work without.

Built for a trucking company: email and Excel turned into one dispatch system with a load board, inbox, documents, quotes and invoices. See the build.Your system is scoped around your own records, people and approvals.

One sheet, five people, and nobody trusts it.

The sheet started small. Now it has tabs nobody remembers adding, two versions in people's inboxes, and one person who knows how it really works.

Details come in by email, get typed into the sheet, then typed again into the invoice. When that person is off, the work waits. The usual fix is another hire to keep up with the typing.

Each record is entered once and moves on its own.

Requests arrive and fill in the record. Your team checks what's flagged, approves, and the next step happens: the schedule updates, the document is filed, the invoice is drafted.

Everyone sees the same live record on a computer or phone. You decide who can view, edit and approve. Your existing tools stay, including Excel, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and QuickBooks Online.

Before you book

Who this is for

Established businesses whose daily work runs on shared spreadsheets and email, usually with a team of 10 to 75. Common examples are order desks, dispatch, job tracking, inventory, intake and billing.

How long a build takes

A Connect build usually runs in two to three weeks after access is in place. Larger systems are delivered in stages, so your team starts using the first part while the rest is built.

Keeping Excel or Google Sheets

You can. Many teams keep a sheet for reports and exports while the daily work moves into the system. Your scope lists which tools connect and how records move between them.

Hiring a consultant compared with this

A consultant can build a better spreadsheet or a macro. You get a working system plus one person who keeps it running, changes it as the business changes and answers when something breaks.

Who owns the data

Your data stays yours. Hosting, ownership and what happens if you stop the monthly plan are written into the quote before you approve it.
